I am finishing with a rush - there are lots more images I could share, and I stumbled on more at the Salvos yesterday! However the end of the meme means more time to sew and create button necklaces (really need to increase stock)!
The inside cover of the older Secret Seven has some great pen and ink images - they were such exciting stories for me. There never were caves and smugglers where we holidayed!
This is the Quangle Wangle's Hat. It was covered in ribbons and bibbons and bows (hmmm, latent craft habit?!)
This was a 1970s classic - lovely colourful images of fun, playing, sunshine, and gardens.
This is maybe one of my favourite pages from it. The little girl walking away as she doesn't like the portrait, looks like Miss 2 in that pinny!x
