Learning how to BLOG

This is actually easier than I thought, but I am having trouble learning a few things like putting in links.... !! I will dedicate time for that today while Miss 2 sleeps.

I have spent nearly 6 years at home with kids, and until late 2005, I didn't have internet at home. I only recently got broadband, and now I am on line every day. It's a huge part of feeling connected to others, accessing information, and I wonder how I did without for so long! However there is still a huge amount to learn!

There are so many talented bloggers out there, and I am a sucker for a good craft blog. I love seeing ideas that inspire me to make things, and I am fascinated that there is just so much to do!

Last night I went to a friend's place to learn how to use an overlocker. This complicated-looking machine just revolutionised the way I sew! It was such a time-saver. I will post some pics of the results of my TWO HOURS overlocking. It cuts away excess fabric and creates a strong and neat edge, and in the end I was looking for things to overlock!

Super fun! (Sounds pathetic doesn't it!?)
