This is... what makes me happy...

Kids and bubbles.

Simple pleasures.

(Yes, she's trying to eat it...!)

Great happy photo! My son is also mad for bubbles, although he like to run and catch them by clapping them between his hands. He gets quite manic with it after a while...he he...

i get that. I love the idea of eating bubbles, too. Makes me think of the Folk of Faraway Tree or something....

Yes - she got several mouthfuls! Commercial bubbles now have fragrance in them (revolting) but if it smells like chocolate... you can imagine her confusion! And yes to the vintage dress Miss Lou - it WAS mine in 1978 (see, I told you we don't throw things out!!) He he he

Lovely photo...I'm sure she'll be delighted with it too when she is older. Something very joyful about bubbles I reckon.

I got my pattern from a debbie bliss book called Special Knits. If you're on ravelry (www.ravelry.com) then you can find the pattern for free as my aunty did! super quick and easy as its knit in one piece and then pick up and knit the front border!!!! too easy

The Little Bush Princess empties the mixture out after a little while to get 'fresh mixture'! I had no idea that it 'went off' but she assures me that it does! Bubbles are fantastic for every age! Jen
