Hildur was a gift from an old family friend who was I think the Managing Director of Toltoys (Aust), a toy company of the 1970s and 1980s. He showered us with toys when we visited him at his office in Little Collins Street in Town.
(We would train in, or tram on the old W-class, have a morning chocolate milkshake at the Myer cafe (underground - do you remember??), and get a rissole sandwich from the Coles Cafe. We would go to the office above a bank, and press 10th floor in the lift (it had a really distinct smell). Anyway...
30-odd years later, she is grey, worn, bald in patches, and floppy, but for some reason she still lives with me.

ohhh, Hildur looks like a much loved bunny...I can see the contentment in those little bunny eyes :)
Sounds like your visits to the toy boss were a treasured memory too!
She's gorgeous (even if she is a bit bald)!
How cute that after all these years, she is still with you! A lifelong friend!
how lovely. So cuddly and loved!
I don't think I really have anything to post. I feel a bit sad about that.
She is beautiful! She looks so well loved and special!
Now that's a bunny that's had its fair share of love, and I can see why. Great story!!!
Awwww!! she's sooo cute!! And obviously well loved! Her (once) pink nose is adorable.
She has a very similar look to my Bobby! Must have been the same era. You took me back to the days when mum would take us into town on the train too. We always went to Coles for lunch! Thanks for re-living some memories for me too :)
Too cute! I think it's my favourite so far. xxxx
