Rice paper rolls

I have blogged before about my dear friend TLK and her darling daughter. M is also 2, and a friend of Miss 2.

We met up today for coffee, during which the blog-less TLK told me something that made me nearly spit out my coffee.

Last night, TLK made rice-paper rolls. I thought M would love these, as she's not averse to eating, particularly carrots, cucumber, and anything else!

However they were not appealing to M, who unwrapped them, tipped out all the contents, and promptly used the rice paper wrapper to blow her nose.

Mmmm, rice paper rolls!

I don't think I could look at ricepaper rolls the same way ever again after that story!

I actually burst out laughing at the end of the story. Yup, I too will not look at rice paper rolls quite the same way again. Oh well, at least if you ever run out of tissues, you know what to use for Miss M.

That's unfortunate. It's my personal belief that rice paper spring rolls are some of the best foods on earth. But then again, I grew up eating that sort of thing all the time!

Too cute. But I'm sure I'll remember this the next time I eat rice paper rolls - not sure if I'll think it's cute then :)
