I am against the business of logging for the purpose of wood-chipping and pulping. There. Those who know me know my thought on this. This truck was one of three that pulled up next to us in the Geelong area. Makes me mad. As a young Geography student I remember likening these trucks to a line of hearses and crying. Not quite as reactive this time, but still find this practice inane, insane and not my cup of tea.

We drove through the Otways up to Colac when we were at home and the kids couldn't believe that whole hillsides were denuded!
I know exactly the feeling you mean. I also feel the same way when I see trucks with animals packed in on top of each other. Sad :(

Thanks for sharing this - usually anything we don't see, we don't think about. On a similar note, I've started paying attention to how much I put in the bin, since it all has to end up somewhere (but most people stop the thought process as soon as it's left their own possession). Thanks again :)
